A couple hours ago I went with my mom to pick up her Christmas present to herself. As promised, it’s a 2014 Lexus CT200H!
I like the car well enough. It has under 20,000 miles and is in pristine shape, with two years or 30,000 miles of the factory warranty left. It may seem boring, but I think the good looks alone are enough to give it personality. She’s absolutely in love with it, which is the important thing. Overall I think it was a smart buy for her, although I know !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Ok, make that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I’ll do a review eventually, after I get around to doing one for the X3 and the Spider.

I really did not think this username through when I picked it three years ago.

That is one of the 2 hybrids I would consider, the other one would be a Volt.

I’m sorry. Please don’t let this experience sour your tastes on all Lexuses.

I didn’t care back when you were hawking Cadillacs and told me we picked the wrong one of those, and I don’t care any more now that it’s a Lexus.

as it’s your mothers car.
it’s fine , she clearly wants a bit of luxury and reliability.
safe to say she’s not a lead foot.
interesting choice in colour though.

She does, she’s had about enough of the repairs on German cars.
She actually is a lead foot, she picked this car because she needs to slow down.
Bright red was one of her must-haves, she loves red cars and her last two cars, both Audis, were bright red. She wanted to keep her “LTTL RED” license plate.

Did you not get it from a Lexus dealer?
That should be an L-Certified car and have 6 years/unlimited miles from date of first use as well as free scheduled maintenance for two years.
No comment on the CT.

These cars are great for 95% of urban commuters.
I’m sure she’s going to love it.

It was purchased at CarMax, thus the CarMax paper tags on the front.

That’s a commitment. The only color that requires more maintenance than black.

Ah gotcha.
If it makes you feel any better I read that at first and thought you were browsing Oppo from an ATM machine
